Mass Media and Ethical Responsibility

The Midterm paper is based on the issue of mass media and ethical responsibility. What is ethical in terms of mass media is a poignant and very critical question to explore.

Your paper will define ETHICS, list and describe the four types of ethical issues that journalists need to be aware of , and critically analyze and discuss what you personally think are the key ethical issues in today’s media culture. If you believe truthfulness is extremely important, your paper will argue why truthfulness is critical, and cite a minimum of THREE examples where a journalist(s) did not tell the truth in their report of a story and what impact their deceit had on the public.

The paper requirements: Minimum of SIX pages; Times New Roman; use 12 font; paginated; and FOUR references (not including textbook)
